Lab Services
Reductive Manufacturing
Our Lab facility includes and 3-axis CNC machine (5-axis coming soon) and our partnership with North Forge gives us access to laser cutting machines. These tools allow us to create precision components cut from metal, wood or acrylic, giving us the flexibility to build hardware for any project.
Additive Manufacturing
We have a small 3D print that allows us to build prototype components and manufacture them in small scale. Our facility includes FDM and resin printers, including a dual-extrusion printer that can create multi-color objects or elaborate shapes that require dissolvable support materials.
Electronics Assembly
We specialize in small-scale hardware design, which means the hardware we create is built in small quantities. BSD has a tradition of not outsourcing our work and we continue that tradition with our hardware business. We’re fully equipped to assemble everything in-house.
Computer Vision & Machine Learning
Computer vision and machine learning are brand new immerging technologies that have the potential to change the way people interact with each other and with technology. BSD has always lived on the cutting edge of technology advancement and we’re embracing this technology too. As a member of Nvidia Inception, we have access to the latest inferencing hardware to build our custom detection models.
